Extremely positive experience from initial consultation to completion of procedure. I was very apprehensive on the day of the procedure but the staff and environment was so pleasant that I quickly relaxed. Initial consultation was non-pressured + friendly but in my case it was several months before I plucked up the courage to go ahead. On the day of the op I met Dr Shahmalak at 07.30 and he ran through what was going to happen and what aftercare was expected. Then some ‘before’ photos were taken. When the operation started the only pain is the injections, which are uncomfortable but bearable. Everyone was very friendly throughout the whole experience and I was offered tea + toast at a midmorning break and tea/sandwiches/crisps/soup for lunch. As mine was a mega session (2200 Grafts) these breaks were welcome. I didn’t use the offered DVD option, just listened to the radio but the operation seemed to quite quickly. Everyone at Crown Clinic was very efficient + professional.

I was very apprehensive prior to the surgery but needn’t have been. There was a lot of care and attention to ensure I was comfortable, knew what was happening and had the opportunity for plenty of breaks.
The skill and attention to detail was excellent – the surgery went much more smoothly than I anticipated and I feel very confident that the procedure (FTU Strip) will transform my hair and restore my confidence.

I had an initial consultation in Dec 2014 and decided not to follow up until Feb 2016. When I went back I was told I was very similar to the initial examination after discussing I decided to book my procedure for April 4th 2017. I am writing this on my return from the procedure 3 hours ago. I can honestly say I have never felt as comfortable with the whole process from arrival/explanation of the day/procedure itself and the staff as whole. I had a full day in the clinic receiving my treatment and it was very thorough and excellently executed on all fronts with regards to the surgeon and his staff. I obviously can’t comment yet on post surgery but I ma that impressed with today I felt a review at this early stage was totally warranted and I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Shahmalak to anyone. I was overall very impressed with the service provided by Crown Clinic. The consultation was direct and clear and the team were very friendly and excellent.
Although it’s still early days to comment on the full effects of the treatment, I can confirm that the immediate results were exactly as explained to me. I was also impressed with the aftercare information provided, and now I’m excited to see the results over the course of this year.

I was very nervous on the day of surgery but as soon as I arrived at the clinic everyone was fantastic and very caring.
The day went very quick. Dr Shahmalak was always there checking everything was ok.
