Upon visiting the clinic for the first time for my initial consultation, I was most impressed with the informal yet professional atmosphere that the clinic has. Dr Shahmalak was very friendly and endeavoured to ensure that I was as fully informed as possible about the procedure and what happens afterwards. This was very reassuring and quickly allayed any initial nervousness that I might have had and put me at ease.
When I arrived for my procedure a few weeks later, the team soon made me relaxed and ensured that I was as comfortable as possible. This helped me to feel ‘at home’ in no time at all. During the procedure, I found that I had very little, if any, discomfort. I hardly felt the anaesthetic needle being inserted. Throughout the procedure, I was kept informed of what was happening. The nurses were happy to chat which was lovely. I was impressed with the recovery room and refreshments that were on offer for both myself and my family who accompanied me on the day of surgery.
Post-op I found that I had a few minor queries regarding aftercare that had not come to mind on the day of surgery. These were quickly answered via email.
I particularly loved the caring, personal approach and friendliness that I received from Dr Shahmalak and the girls in his team and I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to anyone who is considering hair surgery. I am so glad that I had the procedure and cannot wait until I see the results in a few months. I left the surgery with my confidence restored and feeling that I had made some new, lovely friends. I’m looking forwards to meeting with Dr Asim Shahmalak and the girls again for a “check-up” in the New Year.

After finally plucking up the courage to speak to someone about my hair loss I arranged an appointment with Dr Shahmalak.
