Has TV’s Mark Wright had a hair transplant?

Has the TOWIE star had a hair transplant?

Mark Wright is one of the best-groomed men on TV.

He first rose to fame on the ITV reality show The Only Way Is Essex, where all the men have immaculate hair.

Mark Wright Hair Before & After

He was the stand-out star of TOWIE before switching to fronting his own TV shows.

He can currently be seen hosting Take Me Out: The Gossip, the ITV2 spin-off show for the popular Saturday night dating show, Take Me Out.

Take a look at these two pictures of 30-year-old Mark – taken years apart.

The first picture shows Mark with hair noticeably receding around the temples.

In the second shot – take last year – Mark has a completely full hairline with no recession at all around the temples.

Of course, the camera my just have been unkind to Mark in the first snap – we all have bad hair days.

But it is fair to say that Mark does have an unusually full hairline these days and the most likely explanation is that he has had a subtle and expertly crafted hair transplant.

Male Pattern Baldness & Treatment Options

It would be no surprise if Mark was suffering from male pattern baldness. Around a third of men of his age have similar problems.

At Crown Clinic, we treat lots of famous patients who prefer not to publicise their hair treatment.

The summer is a particularly busy time of the year for our surgeon Asim Shahmalak, who treats a lot of Premiership footballers for whom image is everything.

The right look can earn a star footballer millions in ‘image rights.’ Does anyone seriously think that Wayne Rooney would be as rich as he is now – or as attractive to sponsors – if he had not had at least two follicular unit extraction hair transplants?

Wayne was happy to go public after his procedures. As have Crown Clinic FUE patients, model Calum Best, Gogglebox star Chris Steed, Homes Under The Hammer presenter Martin Roberts and football pundit Didi Hamann.

Dr Shahmalak has also performed the more traditional FUT (follicular unit transplantation) procedure on the TV doctor Christian Jessen.

It is likely that Mark Wright has cleverly and subtly bolstered his hairline with an FUE procedure where the hair is harvested from the back and sides of the scalp in small individual grafts and then replanted in the areas of the scalp where the hair is receding.

Whatever Mark Wright has chosen to do, we wish him. His hair looks amazing and if he has had a procedure, he is a brilliant advert for hair transplantation. If you’d like to find out more about the hair transplant procedure, please feel free to contact our team who will be happy to help.
