Has Coronation Street star Antony Cotton had help with his hair?

We are huge fans of Coronation Street here at Crown Clinic.

The soap is made a few miles from our main clinic – at Granada TV’s main studios in Manchester.

One of our favourite Corrie characters over the years has been lovely Sean Tully, played by the super-talented Antony Cotton.

We have noticed that Antony’s hair has been looking fairly lush recently – far more so than a years ago when his male pattern baldness was much more noticeable.

You can see a big change in Antony’s hair in these two pictures – one taken during Antony’s appearance on I’m A Celebrity in 2011 and one taken a few months ago.

We can all agree that Antony looks fantastic these days and the top of his scalp does appear to have been bolstered with new hair.

Antony’s has chosen not to make any public pronouncements about his hair, but the change in his appearance has lead to speculation that he has had a hair transplant– such as this piece below:

Antony may well have had a FUE or a FUT hair transplant procedure.

Certainly if he has, it is money very well spent because Antony looks fantastic – far younger than his 40 years.

Antony would not be the first star to turn back the ageing clock by resorting to a hair transplant.

At Crown Clinic we treat lots of celebrity clients who have received help with their hair including the model Calum Best, the TV doctor Christian Jessen and Martin Roberts, presenter of the BBC property show Homes Under The Hammer.

More recently, our surgeon Asim Shahmalak has been working with the football pundit and former Liverpool, Newcastle and Man City player Didi Hamann.

Didi was very honest and admitted he wanted to bolster his hair so that he looked better on TV. He said he owed it to the viewers to look good on screen.

Bang on, Didi – and thanks for coming to us.
