Fresh media coverage appeared today about Celebrity Big Brother star Calum Best’s three hair transplants at Crown Clinic.
There is a great piece here in the Sun in which Calum explains how he looks five years younger, thanks to the procedures from our surgeon Asim Shahmalak:
Calum explains how he was inspired to seek help after learning of England football captain Wayne Rooney’s hair transplant.
Like Wayne, Calum used the FUE method (follicular unit extraction). This is where individual hairs are removed from the back or sides of the scalp as donor hair – to be transplanted in the balding areas.
Around 80% of Crown Clinic patients now opt for FUE – even though it is slightly more expensive than FUT (follicular unit transplantation), the more traditional method of hair transplantation, also known as strip harvesting.
Other Crown Clinic FUE patients include Gogglebox star Chris Steed, football pundit Didi Hamann and I’m A Celebrity and Homes Under The Hammer star Martin Roberts.
The TV doctor Christian Jessen had two FUT transplants with Dr Shahmalak at Crown Clinic.
We are really enjoying watching Calum Best on Celebrity Big Brother.
Last time he was on two years ago he was runner-up on the show – because viewers liked his laid-back style.
He is coming over well this time, too.
Calum’s looks are what make him a successful model and TV personality. Would he have been so successful if he had not sought treatment from Crown Clinic and the help of our surgeon Asim Shahmalak?
Calum has generously acknowledged the role we have paid in helping him in his career and we wish him every success on Celebrity Big Brother.
